Everyone’s in the band.
Start with your selected cast in a lived-in office, with only the instruments their roles need.
A small desk. A very big entrance.
Turn your photos into a Tiny Desk AI performance: take the lead, bring a friend, or cast up to five people. Only your selected people appear.
Original AI performance and music. Not the NPR footage or original “Outstanding” recording.

Watch three Tiny Desk AI performances generated with our website. Choose solo, duet or a five-person cast, and turn on sound to hear the original music.
A Tiny Desk AI cast makes it personal. The reaction and the solo make it worth sending.
Start with your selected cast in a lived-in office, with only the instruments their roles need.
Move closer as the lead finishes a short original phrase with a relaxed expression.
If you cast a sax player, give them a solo; otherwise feature a selected keyboard player or the lead’s reaction. Return to the same cast for the ending.
The trend recasts performers in a desk-concert video with unexpected faces: coaches, friends or the people from a group chat. The familiar setting, expressive lead and surprise sax solo make the joke recognizable.
AIRAPVIDEO Tiny Desk AI creates an original office setting, only your selected performers and original soul audio. Your portraits identify who should perform each role; they do not supply a singing voice.
Build your Tiny Desk AI cast first, then review the complete idea. Choose the people who will appear, select a frame and check the final credit cost before creating.
01
Choose one clear portrait for the lead singer. Use Me + a friend for two people, selecting sax or keys for the second performer. Group · 3–5 reveals all five role positions. Unfilled roles are omitted.
02
Review who sings, who plays and which selected performers occupy each role. Choose an occasion or write your own. Confirm video settings and the final credit cost before submitting. The composition illustration is not a result guarantee.
03
When your video is ready, check faces through every cut, hands on instruments and audio timing. Use photos you have permission to use, and identify the finished clip as AI-generated when posting.
Your Tiny Desk AI band can start with one person. Add two, three, four or five portraits without filling seats you do not want to cast.
The main vocal and expressive close-up. Give this part to the person whose performance makes the idea work.
The solo close-up. In the two-person setup, this is your friend’s moment in the spotlight.
The front row at the keyboard, anchoring the wider band scenes. Use a separate portrait for this position.
The left position in the back row. This performer adds another familiar face to the ensemble scenes.
The other backing-vocal position. Complete the five-person group, or leave this seat unoccupied.
Start with a recent, sharp head-and-shoulders portrait, facing the camera in even light. Keep the eyes and face visible. Use one person per photo so each role has an unambiguous reference.
Avoid sunglasses, masks, heavy beauty filters, motion blur and faces far from the camera. A crowded group photo is not a substitute for five individual role portraits; crop a separate, clear image for each person.
A recognizable opening does not prove the whole video works. In a finished render, watch the lead close-up, any instrumental response and the return to the cast for identity changes or distorted hands. Only use adult portraits of yourself or people who agreed to appear.
Choose the people and the occasion before choosing every seat. A clear idea makes the cast easier to understand.
A solo Tiny Desk AI idea works when one familiar expression carries the joke. Pick the friend who sings every chorus, the colleague celebrating a promotion, or yourself after a long week. Only that person appears. The accompaniment stays off screen; there are no additional musicians or background people.
A two-person setup gives the lead a reaction and the second person a sax or keyboard moment. Choose roles that fit your friends, then use the side-by-side uploads to check both portraits.
A five-person Tiny Desk AI concept suits a group chat, an office team or a fantasy-league crew. Decide the lead first, then assign the instrumental and backing roles. Match each portrait to its label so the review describes the exact lineup you intended.
